Lake Helene sits at the top of the Rocky Mountains in Rocky Mountain National Park. In this soft pastel painting, the last of the trees are seen as the mountians in back ascend above tree line. Three fish swim in the clean waters and rocks are visible at the bottom of the lake.

Heather Coen has taken the road less traveled and it has made all the difference. Traveling the back roads of the United States, visiting islands, Europe and South America, she has contemplated the earth’s incredible beauty. It is her privilege to try and capture the majestic essence in her oil and pastel paintings. She has known since she was a small child this was her life's purpose.
